Douglas A-4 Skyraider was used by the US Navy over Korea and Vietnam as a dive/torpedo bomber. The plane was introduced months after the end of WWII. The plane remained in active duty in the US until 1973 when it was retired in the US but seen action in other areas of the world until 1985 when it was retired from millitary service. This particular airplane was abord the USS princeton.
