At any rate in the 1920's Willeys produced approximately 50,000 vehicles a year from their Toledo, Ohio plant. The depression of the 20's truly hurt the Willys Company, but unlike many of their competitors they managed to hold on and not go out of business. The main struggle that WIllys faced was the company produced high quality luxury cars. In an era of economic struggles the expensive luxury cars sales were very slow. As far as looks of this horseless carriage goes, it has the basic styling that was prevalent in the 20's most auto manufactures in the teens and early 20's utilized the same basic body style. The detached headlights, crank start, and the basic horse carriage cab style. In many cases the only determination between the vehicles of this era are the hood ornaments or moto meters and paint color schemes.
