An image of a bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) landing. I love watching birds but particularly eagles. The have this subtle grace for a rather large bird. Every once and awhile you get a surprise as you are observing these birds they either hunt and catch something, take of or land in an unusual way, or something that makes the time spent absolutely worth it. Then again any time spent outdoors pursuing something you love to watch is time well spent. Raptor birds can make the time exciting as well.
