This is an image of a clear winged blue dragonfly perched on a blade of grass. Dragonflies are amazing insects. I have watched many of them fly hover and dart in a totally unexpected direction. I have not seen very many dark blue Dragonflies and definitely even less that are dark blue and have clear wings. This image was taken in the swamp in West Virginia.
