This is a long shot of Hidden falls on horse pasture River in North Carolina. Within a 2 mile area around hidden falls there are 4 other waterfalls. This is an area rich in waterfalls, short drops and other water type events within the river. These waterfalls are on the Federal land which runs adjacent to Gorges State Park in the Pisgah National Forest. Gorges trails are very manicured but the trails on the federal land are a lot more rugged and are more primitive. You will definitely be able to tell when you cross from the state land into the federal land. The falls on this trail are beautiful. A true bucket list place for those who love waterfalls, North Carolina, and primitive trail hiking.
