This is the center section of lower swallow falls.The entire falls are rather impressive. The go back for about 150 yards and are approximately 100 feet wide. The water coming of these 4-6 foot waterfalls is extremely cold even in August. This is due, in part to the falls being fed by Appalachian Mountain water runoff in Maryland.
