Minneapolis Moline was a tractor and farm equipment manufacturer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The company was founded in 1929 as a result of a merger between the Minneapolis Steel and Machinery Company and the Moline Plow Company. Here is a brief history of Minneapolis Moline tractors:
1920s: The Minneapolis Steel and Machinery Company was founded in 1902 and had been producing tractors since 1912. The Moline Plow Company was founded in 1852 and had been producing plows and other farm equipment since the mid-19th century. In 1929, the two companies merged to form Minneapolis Moline.
1930s: In the 1930s, Minneapolis Moline introduced several new tractor models, including the Model Z, Model U, and Model JT. These tractors were popular with farmers due to their reliability and power.
