Artist's Description

This is a vintage orange crush sign.

Orange Crush is a brand of orange-flavored soda that was first created in 1911 by Clayton J. Howell, a chemist from Los Angeles, California. The original formula was created using real orange pulp and oil, which gave the soda a natural orange flavor.

In 1916, the Orange Crush Company was incorporated and began producing and distributing Orange Crush soda in bottles. The company expanded rapidly, and by the 1920s, it was one of the largest soft drink manufacturers in the United States.

During the 1920s and 1930s, Orange Crush became a popular beverage in many parts of the world, and the company began to expand its product line to include other flavors such as grape, lemon-lime, and cherry.

In the 1940s and 1950s, Orange Crush continued to grow in popularity, and the company began to use television advertising to promote its products. The iconic slogan "Good things come to those who crush" was introduced during this time.
