Artist's Description

This is an image of a storm rolling over the Smokey mountains, heading to Fontana Lake.

There was a storm coming from the west over fontana lake this much is obvious by the clouds and about 15 minutes later the rain that would of soaked us on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad on our way to Nantahala Gorge. I did not realize how deep the reflection of the clouds were or how blue the skies are until I actually began to work on this image. Truly nature and the smoky mountains are their best.

I am partial to the mountain region of North Carolina. I absolutely love shooting photographs of nature there.
