User-Friendly Interface: The Apple II computer, released in 1977, was the first mass-market computer to offer a user-friendly interface. It used a graphical user interface (GUI) that allowed users to interact with the computer using a mouse and icons, rather than typing in commands.

Apple aimed to make computers accessible to the average person by making their products affordable. The Apple II, for example, sold for $1,298, which was significantly cheaper than other computers on the market.
