This is an image of a horse drawn John Deere Model K Series 47 Horse drawn Honey Wagon (manure spreader) in a summer field. While there was manure spreaders in 1939 that were designed to be pulled behind a tractor this one was designed and manufactured to be pulled by horses or oxen. While this wagon is rough looking it appeared to still be functional some 80 years after manufacture.
