This is an image of a vintage Standard Gasoline, gas pump sign featuring Donald Duck. From the 1920s through the 1960s gas companies used cartoon characters on their gas pump signs. these pump plate signs were generally 5-8 inches in diameter and hung right on the front of the pump.
