Digital Art - Digital Oil Painting
Description
This is a digital oil painting of a Georgian heritage kitchen. The kitchen isn't just any Heritage kitchen, it was the kitchen for Blennerhassett Mansion in West Virginia. This kitchen was used to serve the day to day needs of the family and the workers of Blennerhassett mansion. The Mansion was built in 1798. It is located on an island in the Ohio River between Belpre, Ohio and Parkersburg, West Virginia.
The kitchen, as you could image was heavily staffed and cooked for both the day to day needs of the family and elaborate banquets. Could you even image cooking for a hundred guests on an open fireplace? The digital oil highlights many of the commonly used items for cooking. If you owned a mansion during the Georgian Era ( 1714-1830) your kitchen would most likely resemble this kitchen.
